Day 164, Tuesday, November 15

Drove from San Diego to Las Vegas today. The drive was utterly uneventful and was simply a matter of taking the interstate to get there as rapidly as possible. Didn’t leave San Diego until noon and arrived in Henderson just after dark. The temps dropped like a rock right at dusk. They’d been about 80 during the day and I bet they dropped to the upper 50s by half an hour after sunset. I’m looking forward to seeing the Chungs at their house in Vegas. I’ve got very little interest in actually seeing Vegas since the bright lights and gambling hold absolutely no interest for me, but I’m greatly looking forward to finally visiting them at their home. They moved to Vegas nearly 11 years ago and I’ve not managed to get down to see them a single time. That’s not being a very good friend on my part, is it?
