Day 159, Thursday, November 10
I drove from Big Sur to Ventura today. I’d forgotten that I’d planned three days in Sequoia rather than two and had managed to convince myself that today was Friday rather than Thursday.
My brother, Peter, has been telling me for a while that I’ve “got to get in touch with Leon Rousso” the father of the guy who got Peter his job at the Saulk Institute, to go for a ride.
Needless to say when I arrived in Ventura and called Leon Russo, with whom I’m supposed to go riding on Saturday and spoke of riding tomorrow, he was utterly surprised to hear from me.
Realizing my mistake, I decided to go hang out at camp ground on the ocean just North of Venture and simply relax for a day.
