These signs were posted at several locations on the hike down into the canyon. The sign is a sad statement for several reasons. First, it's a sad statement about the general physical condition of the people who visit the parks. Second, it's hard to fathom how anybody could hike down into the canyon without thinking "Hey, I've got to turn around and hike back out...that might be a bit tiring!" I didn't think the hike was that bad at all.
