Day 14, Thursday, June 30

After Tania and I packed up our stuff this (late) morning, I unhooked my trailer and drove Tania down to the Cody Airport. She and I managed to get in a short hike this morning on the road out of the park. I set up my tent site immediately upon getting back into the park. And then drove up to Mammoth Hot Springs for some sunset pictures. Like so many other features of the park, Mammoth Hot Springs defies imagination with its forms and colors. Once again tonight it was damn cold for camping but at least the rain held off. The way I look at, I’m on the road, pursuing a dream, and camping in Yellowstone park. It could have been 20 degrees and hail and it’d still have been great!
